'Preconcieved notions' and 'adverse experiences'-A never ending saga.

When I was a kid, I thought that the word "Sex Education" meant how to have intercourse in different ways(traumatizing for a kid, yes). But now as I’m a bit more mature than before, I can define it in a better way.

In general, I feel that Sex Education means providing young kids, teenagers and people with information concerning the idea of ‘sex’ so that a healthy sexual relationship can be maintained. This can include knowledge regarding the human genitalia, and usage of contraceptives to prevent STDs like AIDS. It's required for birth control which is essential to control population control. The land is limited and resources are scarce.

It also includes differentiating between good and bad touch. I feel it's essential to be taught at a young age because children listen, learn and retain the most when they're young. An incident happened with my female friend when she was young. As far as I remember, she was forced by an uncle in her neighbourhood to sit on his lap. She faced the extreme version of Bad Touch.

This further justifies the need for some aspects of Sex-Ed needed to be taught at a young age. I believe that If a person is not well informed during his upbringing, then they won't be able to identify and rectify their wrongdoings.
